Gallstones are pieces of solid material that form in your gallbladder, a small pear shaped organ under your liver. The size of gallstones can be as small as a grain of sand or as big as a golf ball.
What causes Gallstones?
Doctors aren’t sure of exact causes of gallstones, but they might happen when:
• too much cholesterol and bilirubin in your bile.
• gallbladder doesn’t empty all the way.

Treatment doesn’t require if you don’t have any symptoms. Some small gallstones can transfer through your body on their own.
